Senior Director Applications Management (IT) Location: London or Stevenage, UK (Hybrid) Autolus is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing next-generation, programmed T cell therapies for cancer treatment. We are looking for a Senior Director, Application Management to lead our enterprise applications strategy and execution. About the Role As Senior Director, Application Management , you will be responsible for the strategic planning, evaluation, and management of Autolus’ IT application portfolio. This includes overseeing application architecture, lifecycle management, vendor relationships, and integration planning to support commercial, manufacturing, clinical, and workplace applications. Key Responsibilities Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of IT applications Develop and implement IT application strategy aligned with business goals Optimize costs, ensure security compliance, and monitor performance Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT applications team Identify opportunities for system modernization, integration, and automation Establish strong relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders Manage IT applications budget and resource allocation What We\’re Looking For Experience leading teams and driving technology initiatives Deep understanding of software architecture, development, and design methodologies Strong vendor management, compliance (GxP, HIPAA, SOX), and financial acumen Broad IT knowledge and ability to translate business needs into technology solutions Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with executive leadership If you are a results-driven leader with a strong technical background and experience in IT applications management, we’d love to hear from you!
