RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand iPipeline processes and procedures used within Testing Develop and maintain an understanding of the functionality of SSG Create and execute test scripts appropriate to the methodology used in the project Record defects in the appropriate defect tracking software Participate in UAT, System Testing, Smoke Testing, Performance Testing, Integration Testing, Interface Testing and Regression Testing Support out of hours testing when required Create, execute and maintain automated tests Review test cases and scripts created by other members of the team Keep abreast of testing techniques and methodologies Skills: At least 3-4 yearsβ experience of Investment and Protection products in a Tester role Ability to work on own initiative Ability to build constructive working relationships with colleagues and other teams within iPipeline Ability to self-manage time and workload Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven structured IT testing experience Hands-on with automated testing tools and techniques Basic understanding on SQLs Basic knowledge regarding API Testing Good understanding of Life and Pensions (New Business, Underwriting, Contract Servicing, Claims) Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle process including Agile and Waterfall Be aware of GDPR and security requirements.
