The Packaging Coordinator acts as a crucial liaison between the Brand Development Team, local marketing teams, and external partners, ensuring seamless execution of packaging projects. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across international markets. The coordinator will be responsible for artwork management, sticker development, communication with distributors, and providing day-to-day support to the local sales and marketing team.

What Your Role Is

  • Packaging Management & Cross-Functional Coordination - Acting as the primary point of contact for all international packaging projects, facilitating seamless communication between the Brand Development Team and local marketing teams. You will be responsible for managing project timelines and deliverables, proactively identifying and resolving any arising issues. You will provide essential support to Market Access Teams (MATs) on local packaging projects, offering your packaging expertise, coordinating key milestones, and meticulously tracking progress. This will also involve providing day-to-day support to local sales and marketing teams for all packaging-related tasks. Finally, you will assist with the administrative coordination, documentation, and logistics related to all packaging projects.
  • Packaging Compliance & Execution - Managing local and international artwork files, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all markets. You will maintain and update master data related to packaging specifications. You will oversee dedicated packaging and stickering projects for distributor markets, ensuring compliance with design and legislative requirements for new products, pack formats, or packaging updates. This role also involves coordinating the collection of labelling and translation for packaging, managing layout proposals, artwork approvals, and print quality verification. You will be responsible for maintaining the sticker database within the Gclips tool.
  • Propose Process Improvement & Cost Savings Projects - Identify and propose projects to improve packaging processes and reduce costs, contributing to the overall profitability of the region.
  • Vendor & Partner Management - Interacting with global packaging partners, managing relationships, and ensuring smooth collaboration. You will serve as the key liaison between Distributor Sales Representatives (DSRs) and General Mills manufacturing sites, facilitating effective communication regarding packaging and artwork specifications and production schedules.

What You Will Bring To The Team

You will possess 2+ years of experience in a packaging-related role, preferably within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. You will be able to demonstrate strong organisational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Reader, along with experience using artwork management software. A strong attention to detail and accuracy is paramount, as is a solid understanding of artwork and pre-press processes.
