Working with the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) for NHS SBS, we need an Executive Assistant who can coordinate calendars, anticipate issues, and work proactively in a dynamic setting. We are looking for someone who is driven, resourceful, and ready to make an impact!
This role provides high-level executive support to the Chief Technology Officer, and ensures the smooth operation of the CTO’s office. The postholder will coordinate the rhythms, communications, and priorities of leadership agenda, acting as a central point of coordination across the technology leadership team. The role is both strategic and administrative, ensuring the CTO remains focused, informed, and connected to the wider organisation.
This is a full-time position, and the team work out of our Leeds office, and we would like someone to be in the office a minimum of 3 days.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinate calendar, travel, correspondence, and day-to-day priorities.
- Prepare materials, briefings, and agendas for internal and external meetings.
- Track and follow up on actions, decisions, and delegated items.
- Act as a gatekeeper and liaison, ensuring effective communication between the CTO and key internal/external partners.
- Triage requests to the CTO, assisting with proactive delegation to relevant teams/partners.
- Handle confidential and critical information with professionalism and discretion.
- Support the CTO in managing time, workload, and external engagements.
- Maintain and coordinate the operational rhythm of the office, including leadership team meetings, strategic reviews, and reporting cycles.
What you’ll bring:

- Demonstrable experience in coordinating an executive office or leadership function, ideally within a technology or digital environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and able to draft succinct executive documents and briefings.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities calmly and optimally.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, OneNote, SharePoint).
It would be great if you had:
- Experience working in or with a technology, digital, or transformation environment.
- Degree-level education or equivalent.
