Location: Central Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Duration: Permanent

Salary: up to £24,000 per annum depending on experience

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (35 hours per week) some flexibility on start and finish times is available with the core hours being 9:30am – 4:30pm

Benefits: 25 days holiday with the opportunity for this to increase over a long period of service + 8 bank holidays, 4% employer and 4% employee contributions to pension, private health care, life assurance, annual bonus (dependent on company performance), additional 2 days holiday during Christmas closure, team building event and annual Christmas party.

We are looking for a confident, organised Trainee Office Assistant to join a busy, friendly legal team. You will learn on the job and gain valuable skills to build a long term career in administration.

Please note: there is onsite parking – ideal for candidates living in or around Cambridge who can commute by bike, foot, or public transport.

What your role will involve:

  • Scanning, printing, post, and filing
  • Updating client records and legal case files
  • Helping with invoices and billing
  • Supporting ID checks and document requests
  • Communicating with clients and suppliers
  • Managing spreadsheets and correspondence

  • A business or law-related qualification (A-Level or Degree Level)
  • Good IT skills (especially Microsoft Office & Excel)
  • Confident communicator with an eye for detail
  • Organised, proactive, and keen to learn
