They are currently seeking Technology / Maintenance Engineers to join their growing team working on the Area 5 highways contract (M25 and surrounding roads). If you’re hands-on, thrive in a structured environment, and enjoy working as part of a close-knit unit, this could be your next rewarding step.
This role involves both day and night shifts in a highly collaborative environment, and you’ll receive full ON-THE-JOB TRAINING; no previous highways experience necessary. They value COMMITMENT, RESILIENCE, AND TEAMWORK, and welcome applicants from all branches of the Armed Forces.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be a vital part of our frontline technology support team, ensuring the reliability and safety of the UK's strategic road network. Your key duties include:
- Installing and commissioning technology systems
- Performing scheduled maintenance inspections
- Rapid response to faults: diagnostics and repairs
- Complying with safety, environmental, and quality standards
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Self-motivated and used to working under their own initiative
- Excellent team players with strong communication skills
- Well-organised and adaptable
- Hold a clean driving licence
- Competent with MS Office and digital tools
- (Desirable) Familiar with Highways or Engineering sectors
- (Desirable) NVQ Electrical Installation or similar
