Job description\\n\\nJob Title: Communication, Language and Interaction (CLI) Teacher – Primary SEND Unit\\nLocation: Beswick M11\\nContract Type: Full-time\\nSalary: Paid to Scale\\nStart Date: September 2025\\n\\nAre you a confident and experienced teacher with a passion for supporting children with communication and language needs? We are looking for a Communication, Language and Interaction (CLI) Teacher to join a specialist SEND unit within a welcoming primary school for the full academic year, starting in September.\\n\\nThis role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).\\n\\nAbout the Role:\\n\\nYou will teach a small group of pupils with a range of communication and interaction difficulties, including autism and developmental language disorders. Your role will involve:\\n\\n * Planning and delivering highly tailored lessons that support both academic and personal development\\n\\n * Supporting pupils’ communication, language, and interaction skills through evidence-based strategies\\n\\n * Collaborating with speech and language therapists, SEND staff, and other professionals\\n\\n * Creating a structured, inclusive and nurturing environment\\n\\n * Using differentiated and flexible teaching approaches to meet individual needs\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) – Essential\\n\\n * Proven experience teaching pupils with communication and language difficulties, particularly autism and/or DLD\\n\\n * Confident in behaviour management and building strong, trusting relationships\\n\\n * Excellent understanding of inclusive and adaptive teaching practices\\n\\n * Please note: This role is not open to ECTs\\n\\nDesirable:\\n\\n * A SEND specialism qualification (e.g.
