SAP BI/BW Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP BI Team Lead to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape Innospec’s reporting and analytics strategy, ensuring the delivery of actionable insights and data-driven decision-making across our global business.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a robust reporting strategy aligned with SAP BW/4HANA and Innospec’s analytics requirements.
• Utilize advanced technical expertise in SAP reporting and analytics solutions to drive best practices and maximize the effectiveness of Innospec’s SAP systems.
• Develop and implement automated reports and dashboards based on a thorough understanding of business requirements and extended data sets.
• Create and manage a roadmap for reporting requirements, ensuring prioritization and updates within the team.
• Provide leadership to the SAP BI and Analytics team by managing workloads, mentoring team members, and supporting their professional development in line with strategic objectives.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive catalogue of reporting requirements and a centralised reporting library, consulting with key stakeholders.
• Present accurate and timely information, including requirement gathering, design, development, and testing of solutions, with concise summaries tailored to executive-level consumption.
• Analyse and manipulate large data sets to deliver management information (MI) reports and trend analyses using specialised software.
• Build strong relationships with business partners across global operations to align solutions with organisational needs.
• Stay updated on current and emerging SAP technologies, solutions, and best practices, advising on their potential benefits to meet both current and future business requirements.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Business Intelligence at an advanced level (SFIA Level 5 equivalent).
• Strong experience in data visualization with the ability to present complex data in actionable formats (SFIA Level 5 equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience in creating and implementing enterprise-wide reporting and analytics strategies and roadmaps.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BW.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing SAP BW solutions across multiple full implementation lifecycles.
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) experience is desirable.
• Advanced analytical skills, with a track record of delivering insights through data modelling and design (SFIA Level 5 equivalent).
• Strong understanding of data architecture and the ability to manipulate and analyse large datasets effectively.
