Contract Logistics Operations Senior Director- Europe

The role As part of our growth plans and reorganisation, we are seeking an Operations Lead in our contract logistics division to develop and manage operations across all warehousing locations. This role will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling regional contract logistics initiatives. The Operations Lead will also drive operational excellence, ensuring the implementation of key initiatives across all logistics operations. The incumbent will play a significant role in managing P&L elements by controlling costs, driving efficiencies, and improving service levels. As part of the contract logistics leadership team, the role will contribute to the division\’s future success. With ambitious plans, including acquiring new businesses, the Operations Lead will support these activities. You will develop and maintain best practices and lead a large team comprising engineering, solutions, innovation, launch, and BI teams. Collaboration with other divisions will be essential to foster cross-selling opportunities and develop end-to-end value propositions. The person Who are we looking for? Extensive experience in contract logistics, with a strong focus on general management, operations, and supply chain solutions. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of P&L success. Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience with shareholders and government agencies. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to adapt to high-pressure environments using a focused leadership style. High-level analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
