The Physiotherapist reports to the Program Manager and assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients with impairments, pain, or disabilities in a tertiary care setting. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing holistic treatment plans using exercises, education, manual therapy, and other techniques, and communicating with other health professionals and patients. About You If you meet the following requirements, we encourage you to apply: Graduation from a Master\’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized school Current or eligible registration in a Resident capacity with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists and eligibility for Canadian Physiotherapy Association membership Current CPR certification Effective communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of other languages, especially French, is an asset Hours Various sites across the zone Full-time, permanent positions 12-18 month assignments Post-residency placement in open positions or apply for other opportunities within Nova Scotia Health Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate: $36.58 Benefits include health, dental, travel, long-term disability, life insurance, and a pension plan.
