Pulse Healthcare is currently seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in Hand Therapy to join our client’s team in Epsom, Surrey. The post is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for a short-term contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct activities of daily living (ADL) and functional assessments.
  • Prepare detailed reports and undertake home visits to assess client needs.
  • Liaise effectively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and collaborate closely with the Lead Occupational Therapist to support the development and implementation of individual care plans.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
  • Work with acute elective and trauma patients, as well as those with plastics and rheumatology conditions.
  • Provide bespoke splints for patients, manage wounds, and remove stitches where necessary.
  • Create personalised recovery and rehabilitation plans for a broad range of hand/wrist-related pathologies.
  • Manage own caseload and work closely with the team.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Be HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Hold a relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Must have experience as an Occupational Hand Therapist.
