Excelsior has been engaged to secure a high calibre sales professional for our wealthtech client, who with over 50 clients are looking to appoint a sales leader to ‘take them to the next level’. The company has market leading investment distribution technology solutions for wealth management firms and private banks which revolutionises the workflows of their clients. They have done phenomenally well to date with a small international sales & account management team reporting direct to the CEO, but now is the time to accelerate growth with the appointment of a senior sales professional to lead their sales team.

In a player coach role where you will lead on enterprise sales opportunities as an individual contributor, you will manage the current 3 person sales team, developing sales structures and processes to lead the sales team to greater sales success as part of the company's growth plans. With international company growth you will of course be able to grow your sales team.

Our client is looking for the following in their sales leader:

  • Strong new business sales career to date; you may have already made the jump to sales team management, but our client is equally happy to appoint an individual contributor who is ready for that next career step up into a player coach team leadership role.
  • Ideally you have strong industry experience in selling technology solutions to wealth management and/or private banking firms.
  • The ability to assess market and customer needs and then develop commercial strategies and organisational practices that will ensure long term success.
  • An ability to develop salespeople, motivate others and foster positive relationships with both internal staff members as well as external stakeholders.
  • Passionate about driving sales growth in order to achieve company revenue objectives.
