Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite – Knutsford, Manchester, or Glasgow)
Salary: £65,000 – £95,000 + Bonus
I am partnering with a longstanding client to support the search for a critical new hire who will become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) space. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in driving governance and risk management initiatives while working with advanced technologies. As an individual contributor, the successful candidate will take on oversight responsibilities, collaborating across teams to strengthen security practices and align with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a DLP SME, managing governance, policies, and improving cybersecurity standards.
- Oversee 110 matrix reports with 10–16 direct reports, while working closely with MDs and legal entities.
- Lead risk management initiatives and contribute to broader cybersecurity procedures.
- Partner with technical teams, including DLP engineers, to refine standards and policies.
Technical Expertise:
- Experience with Symantec and Purview DLP technologies (migration to Purview in progress).
- Knowledge of F5 and frameworks aligned with NIST or equivalent.
- Strong comfort level with technical collaboration and discussions.
