Multi-Asset Portfolio Assistant

Our client is a leading top tier Investment Management firm, who are looking to hire a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join their investment team.

Due to past years of over-performance, the client is seeking to increase the Multi-Asset investment desk, with an individual who would be responsible for assisting the fund managers in the day-to-day management of portfolios. This role is a fantastic opportunity to directly work alongside the Portfolio Managers, supporting them as well as executing their decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Day to day management of portfolios; check cash balance daily, inform Portfolio Managers of any trades required to resolve cash balance.
2. Attend Investment meetings with the objective of writing a monthly update on strategy and investment views.
3. Assist in ad-hoc research projects.
4. Monitor performance and conduct risk analysis.
5. Maintain data on asset allocation history of portfolios.

Candidate Profile:

1. 1-2 years of industry experience.
2. Degree Educated; Preferably in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or similar.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
4. Show an interest in investment management and financial markets.
5. A strong sense of initiative and flexibility coupled with a well-developed collaborative spirit.
6. Be prepared to learn and develop skills as the opportunity arises.
7. Good numeric skills and an attention to detail.
8. Able to communicate effectively to both internal and external clients.
9. Be a team player that is prepared to help drive investment performance and develop business.
