About the Role
This is a brand-new position with a clear remit: build and nurture relationships with key customers across the South of the UK. You’ll be targeting civil engineering firms, M&E contractors, property developers, and main contractors, selling bespoke pumping stations and service solutions that require a consultative, solution-oriented approach. You'll manage the full sales cycle, from booking your own appointments to closing deals, often working closely with the company's in-house design and engineering teams. The role involves extensive travel across the region and nights away from home. Expect to be in the office no more than one day a week.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive revenue and margin growth across strategic accounts.
- Develop and execute key account plans that build long-term partnerships.
- Become an expert on customer needs, both current and emerging, and ensure solutions are aligned.
- Work closely with internal departments to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain high ethical and professional standards, representing the brand with credibility and confidence.
- Stay up to date on market and competitor activity to help shape strategy.
What We’re Looking For
- A seasoned field salesperson with a strong track record in B2B account development.
- Ideally from a construction, capital equipment, or technical services background (not essential).
- Someone who can self-manage and thrives on accountability and results.
- A confident communicator able to engage everyone from site managers to directors.
- Willing and able to spend regular nights away on the road.
- Industry experience in pumping, civil engineering, or M&E is a plus, but not essential. Full product training is provided.
What’s in it for You?
- A rare chance to build a territory from the ground up with a supportive and ambitious company.
- Full autonomy to manage your own diary and sales approach.
- A team-oriented environment that values integrity, impact, and continuous growth.
- Clear progression as the business scales toward its £10m revenue target.
