We are looking for a seasoned Senior Data Engineer / Data Architect to join our team. If youβre a data expert with deep knowledge of Data Governance, Data Modeling, and Data Architecture, plus a strong grasp of GDPR compliance, this role is for you. Hands-on experience with Databricks and DBT is essential, and familiarity with tools like Snowplow, Monte Carlo, Alation, and Avo is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and implement scalable data architectures and governance frameworks.
- Lead data modeling initiatives to optimize structures and pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data privacy regulations.
- Champion data quality, lineage, and observability using tools like Monte Carlo, Alation, or Avo.
- Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to deploy Databricks-based solutions.
- Work with stakeholders to define data strategies aligned with business goals.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for efficiency and reliability.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party tools for data tracking and governance (e.g., Snowplow, DBT).
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture roles.
- Expertise in Databricks and DBT with hands-on experience in data transformation and pipeline development.
- Proven experience in Data Governance, Data Modeling, and Data Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR and other data privacy regulations.
- Familiarity with Snowplow, Monte Carlo, Alation, or Avo is a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and analytics.
