Hawkwood are currently partnering with a purpose-driven fintech scale-up who are looking for a Technical Recruiter to support growth across Technology teams. Our client is an established player within their niche and has grown from a disruptive start-up to a profitable and resilient brand, with strong backing and an international footprint. Operating at the intersection of finance and technology, they have successfully built a platform that’s reshaping the landscape of lending.
The Role:
As a Technical Recruiter, you’ll play a key role in hiring across Engineering, Product and Data teams. You will work as part of a close-knit Talent Acquisition team of three, becoming a key part of a lean, high-performing department. This is a direct sourcing role where you’ll work closely with Talent Partners, drive the full recruitment lifecycle, and focus on quality, speed, and candidate experience. The role will have a strong focus on building high-quality pipelines and filling roles quickly and effectively.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support end-to-end recruitment for Engineering, Product and Data roles.
- Proactively source, engage, and assess candidates using creative direct sourcing strategies.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring journey, from first outreach to offer stage.
- Build and maintain high-quality pipelines, with a strong focus on diversity and inclusive hiring practices.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition Lead to continuously test, refine, and adopt new sourcing strategies and channels to improve hiring outcomes.
- Use data to inform sourcing decisions, track progress, and report on key recruitment metrics.
- Support interview processes, including interviewer alignment and coordination, to ensure efficient and values-led hiring.
About You:
- Experience recruiting for technical roles on behalf of tech companies. Applications from a pure agency background would be a great fit for this role.
- Strong direct sourcing skills with a focus on proactive search, talent mapping, and building pipelines using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Welcome to the Jungle, browser plug-ins and other sourcing platforms.
- Skilled at building and maintaining diverse hiring pipelines. DEI is important to our client, and they are always striving to improve hiring practices to ensure they can reach the widest audience possible.
- Comfortable working independently but loves collaborating with a wider TA team.
- Organised, fast-moving, and enjoys working in a scaling environment.
