Specsavers, Haverhill are looking for a new Optometrist to join the team. The store is community-focused and currently operates with 80% of the market share in the area, so we need someone ready to use their passion, skills, and experience to help us to continue driving our business forwards.

About the store
Specsavers Haverhill is a 4-test room store, with room for growth, housing all the latest equipment including OCT and phoropters. Located in a beautiful market town in Suffolk, directly across from a Costa! Travel from Haverhill is surprisingly less than you would think as we are located on the border of Essex and Cambridgeshire. Our store has a fantastic long-standing team in place, with some being with us for 10+ years, and one of our directors have been with us since the store opened in 2024, offering a wealth of knowledge. Our directors also have a fantastic reputation and have a strong focus on customer care! We are passionate about the clinical development of our team, and as our new Optometrist, we want to support you with extra courses and specialisms that interest you. Whatever your ambitions, from WOPEC qualifications and independent prescribing to paediatric accreditations or enhanced optical services, we will do everything we can to help you be the best clinician you can be.
About You
You will need to be a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist with the drive, passion and the willingness to build upon our customer-focused culture. As part of our team, you’ll need to be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. You’ll need to demonstrate good attention to detail along with a passion for the community. Teamwork also forms a big part of our culture, so the ability to work well with others is essential.
