We are looking for a Dutch speaking Senior Accountant to join a multinational team, focusing on the Netherlands and Belgium. This Dutch speaking Senior Accountant role is all about making sure financial reporting is spot-on and to comply with local accounting standards. In this role, you will be able to work on a hybrid basis and the company offers a great benefits package. Your responsibilities will include: Financial Reporting: Handle financial info according to US, Dutch, and Belgian GAAP. You\’ll also analyse monthly accounts. Local Compliance: Keep up with local accounting standards and tax laws. Prepare VAT and Intrastat Returns and make sure we submit everything on time. Month-end and Year-end Closing: Lead the month-end processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. General Ledger Management: Keep our general ledgers accurate and manage fixed asset registers. Audit Support: Work with auditors and provide the necessary documentation. Cross-functional Collaboration: Team up with Shared Services Centres and local teams to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations. Process Improvement: Find ways to make our processes better and ensure we comply with internal control frameworks.
