Calibration Engineer
Main Responsibilities

  • Calibration of marine survey equipment to manufacturers and industry standards.
  • Accurately recording results in line with company standards.
  • Updating, revising and creating calibration processes and procedures.
  • Servicing of instruments and completing minor repairs.
  • Monitoring future work requirements and planning accordingly.
  • Organising and overseeing dispatch of equipment for external calibration and ensuring completion.
  • Supporting the wider technical team with ad-hoc engineering work as required.

Requirements of Role

  • Previous experience in an Electrical Calibration, Quality inspection, QC, Testing, Fault finding, or Verification role.
  • Working knowledge of electronic fault finding, ideally to component level.
  • Ability to demonstrate competency with MS Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Confident to learn new PC based software.
  • Have an eye for detail, work methodically and be able to work under own initiative.
