The Opportunity: We’re seeking an experienced Resource and Planning Manager to lead and optimise our resource management processes across multiple projects and client engagements. This is a pivotal role within our Project and PMO team, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time to meet business needs and deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and forecast resource allocation across multiple projects and teams
  • Work closely with delivery leads, project managers, and department heads to understand upcoming demand and capacity
  • Optimise resource utilisation and reduce bench time, while maintaining flexibility
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate resource data and dashboards
  • Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to leadership
  • Support in workforce planning, including hiring and contractor onboarding decisions
  • Drive improvements in resource management processes, systems, and tools

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a resource planning or workforce management role, ideally within a consultancy or professional services environment
  • Strong understanding of project delivery models and team dynamics
  • Exceptional organisational and analytical skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels

  • Proficiency with resource planning tools (e.g., Mavenlink, Smartsheet, or similar) is advantageous
