Manufacturing Engineer – 12-month Fixed Term Contract
You will play a key role in operating a newly created cleanroom that has been established to support the introduction of a new line of products. They are based in a state-of-the-art facility where you can witness products go from concept to delivery. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement in a lean manufacturing environment. They manufacture cutting-edge technology that is revolutionising the industry, and this role will have a significant impact on the business.
If you have hands-on experience with machine repair and maintenance in a factory setting, it would be advantageous, but not essential. This role is a 50/50 split between working inside and outside a cleanroom.
What You’ll Do:
- Support manufacturing operations with engineering expertise.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Work closely with NPI teams to ensure seamless product introductions.
- Use Six Sigma methodologies and structured problem-solving tools.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Strong knowledge of lean principles and Six Sigma.
- Ability to analyse manufacturing data and optimise production processes.
