Contract Duration: 6 months

Pay: Up to £70 per hour (Inside IR35)

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the functional PMO and being the PMO point of contact, identifying solutions to issues, and resolving them.
  • Handling PMO-related queries.
  • Developing and implementing the PMO strategy and initiatives.
  • Building relationships with group and senior stakeholders, leading PMO and governance meetings, and representing Mission Systems at governance meetings.
  • Implementing governance-related changes, templates, guidance, and integrating tools and best practices.
  • Maintaining PM governance documents and transitioning them into Agility.
  • Managing the adoption of governance documents, reviewing, and proposing new documentation for implementation.

Required Experience:

  • Experience as a PMO Lead, project delivery, or project controls.
  • Understanding of project governance and controls, with implementation experience.
  • Leadership experience with teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in implementing and communicating change in a matrix organization.
