WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Falmouth, MA.
Job Function
- Day Shift or Night Shift. 3x12: 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am.
- Prepares and administers prescribed medications orally, subcutaneously, or intravenously, and documents all administrations accurately.
- Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with established nursing policies and protocols.
- Educates patients on upcoming surgical procedures to ensure understanding and preparedness.
- Records patients’ medical histories, vital signs, and relevant clinical information.
- Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment, interpreting and documenting electronic data as needed.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- 2 years of acute Med/Surg RN experience required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Travel nursing experience preferred.
