About the Role: We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Autism at a welcoming primary school in Clapham Junction. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive academically and personally. You will be working within a supportive team in a school known for its nurturing environment and thoughtfully designed sensory-friendly spaces that promote calm and focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 support to a primary-aged pupil with Autism.
- Collaborate with class teachers and SEN staff to deliver effective support plans.
- Support emotional regulation, sensory needs, and classroom engagement.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience working with SEND students, particularly those with Autism.
