About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Pricing professional to be a key representative of the Pricing function within NFU Mutual’s largest transformational project.
This role is part of the team responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing our pricing capabilities, ensuring seamless integration within the broader project scope. As a pivotal figure in driving pricing strategy and execution within an agile environment, you will act as the primary contact for pricing-related technical queries and decision-making.
You will be a lead member of the agile squad, providing input into requirements, working closely with the Workstream Lead, Product Owner, and Scrum Master to ensure smooth operation of pricing squads. You will also own planning, reporting, and presenting to senior stakeholders, while contributing to the overall programme plan to support timely delivery.
This role also involves acting as an ambassador for the Pricing function, building relationships with stakeholders across NFU Mutual, including Underwriting, Claims, and IT. It is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pricing expert who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to make a significant impact on a high-profile transformation.
About you
We are looking for a pricing professional with substantial experience in general insurance pricing, especially in Commercial products. You should have strong expertise across all Pricing disciplines and experience with Radar, Guidewire, and SQL.
You will have a proven track record in implementing pricing strategies, mentoring team members, and ensuring work accuracy and quality. Experience working in an agile environment and understanding agile processes is preferred.
You should demonstrate:
- Effective communication skills, capable of impactful presentations
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, especially with senior professionals
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills based on critical and logical thinking
