The IT Project Manager for M&A will be responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of sensitive initiatives, ensuring that information technology assets and systems are efficiently and securely separated, transitioned, or decommissioned. This role requires excellent project management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and experience handling confidential or high-stakes projects, especially in environments with sensitive data or regulatory considerations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and compliance requirements, as well as experience navigating the complexities of M&A work.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of Projects within defined methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) - following standard process as well as the guidance and framework set by the Enterprise IT Portfolio Office.
  • Leading resources and cross functional team members effectively.
  • Establishing clear communication routes whilst managing expectations.
  • Identifying and handling risks, issues and inter project/portfolio dependencies and understanding appropriate channels for timely and successful resolution.
  • Work with Business Analysts, architects and technical leads to identify and track their activities to ensure delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Produce high quality project status updates, reporting into a well-defined governance structure.
  • Create project documentation (PID, Plans, RAID logs, Definition Documents and Closure Reports etc) to a high standard in line with the Project Delivery Lifecycle.
  • Leading a multi-functional, global team to deliver against a plan with a clear and well understood critical path.
  • Work in alignment to Arm's change management process and reviews.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working on M&A projects and leading an IT workstream as part of a larger M&A Programme.
  • 5 years + Experience of operating in an agile and/or waterfall project management style environment, planning and delivering IT projects.
  • Good interpersonal skills are a key part of this role. Project Managers are expected to build and maintain strong working relationships with delivery teams and wider business partners.
  • Ability to efficiently time management, prioritise work, multi-task across projects/work streams and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively.
