The Albert Bartlett Group Technical Projects and Compliance Manager is a crucial role in supporting the wider business in Technical, Food Safety and Food Defence areas. The group compliance manager will become involved in the strategic role for food safety compliance running, responsible for delivering some key implementation projects and continuous improvement strategies and providing key support and coaching in areas around HACCP, internal auditing, traceability, root cause analysis and food defence plans.
The role will support sites in gap analysis work with customer policies and requirements, support in delivery key customer communications and presentations. Also, the role will support sites in internal audit best practice, provide support where independent audits are required from the sites QMS. The role will help deliver robust root cause analysis to support problem solving of Technical issues. Support food safety and integrity risk assessment reviews from non-potato ingredients and suppliers. To provide the business with advice and support on emerging threats in food safety and risks. Leading Technical IT systems through implementation and delivery. Support key technical products and providing technical support for our products made in the Albert Bartlett Portfolio businesses (Scotty Brand, Capocci Ice cream and others). Supporting the business units in Airdrie should the technical manager be absent.
About The Role
- Ensuring Customer information requests completed on time and accurately.
- Developing Food defence system which meets all customer and internal requirements.
- Responsible for Internal and external KPI trackers are accurately completed.
- Ensure Board reports completed on time and with detailed commentary.
- Paperless systems implementation with high engagement with the teams and with a high standard of quality and accurate completion.
