Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Production MIG Welder to join a busy and well-established manufacturing team working on high-quality chassis components for the Land Rover aftermarket. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for someone with solid MIG welding experience, who takes pride in precision and consistency. You'll be working from jigs and fixtures, contributing to a trusted supply chain for rugged, reliable vehicle builds.
Key Duties:
- MIG welding of chassis parts and assemblies using jigs and fixtures.
- Working from technical drawings and following work instructions to meet production standards.
- Carrying out pre-weld and post-weld inspections for quality control.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with company H&S procedures.
- Completing daily production targets and reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Basic maintenance and upkeep of welding equipment.
- Collaborating with the wider production team to ensure efficient workflow and minimal downtime.
