Estimator – Structured Cabling\\nUp to £55,000 + Private Health\\nHybrid or Remote Working Available – Depending on Location\\n\\nJunior candidates with 'on the tools structured cabling experience' will also be considered.\\n\\nWe are working on behalf of a well-established and respected technology infrastructure business that is looking to appoint a Estimator to its pre-construction team.\\n\\nThis role will suit someone with a strong background in structured cabling who enjoys working closely with clients to develop tailored, well-costed solutions – all while ensuring full compliance with relevant industry and installation standards.\\n\\nWhether you’re local and looking for a hybrid arrangement, or further afield and seeking a remote position, this client is happy to work around the right person. Client meetings are booked around your availability.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Produce accurate, fully costed designs and quotations for structured cabling projects\\n\\n * \\n\\n Work directly with clients to understand their requirements and deliver clear, considered proposals\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensure all work aligns with current industry regulations, client standards, and manufacturer guidelines\\n\\n * \\n\\n Provide comprehensive handovers to the operations team covering design, labour, and materials\\n\\n * \\n\\n Maintain up-to-date knowledge of structured cabling systems, standards, and emerging technologies\\n\\n * \\n\\n Occasionally attend site visits as required\\n\\n * \\n\\n Represent the business confidently in a client-facing capacity\\n\\nEssential Requirements:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong understanding of structured cabling systems, including installation standards and best practices\\n\\n * \\n\\n Confident communicator with the ability to engage directly with clients and internal teams\\n\\n * \\n\\n Good mathematical skills and a methodical approach to cost estimation\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience working independently, managing your own time and workload\\n\\n * \\n\\n Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail\\n\\nDesirable (but not essential):\\n\\n * \\n\\n Familiarity with PowerPoint, Visio and Microsoft Project\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience using design software such as AutoCAD or Adobe\\n\\n * \\n\\n Previous experience in telecoms, electrical, or data infrastructure sectors\\n\\n * \\n\\n A proactive approach to professional development and staying current with industry trends\\n\\nPackage:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Salary up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Private healthcare\\n\\n * \\n\\n Hybrid working as standard\\n\\n * \\n\\n Remote working considered for candidates based further afield\\n\\n * \\n\\n Client meetings arranged flexibly around your availability\\n\\nIf you’re looking to join a forward-thinking business that values quality and professionalism, and you meet the key requirements above, we’d be pleased to hear from you.\\n\\nApply now or get in touch for a confidential conversation
