Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer for an international manufacturing company with a site based in Radcliffe. Our client are global leaders in producing fragrances, supplying some of the biggest brands in the world. This is a permanent full time position and the successful candidate will be joining the marketing team.
Purpose of the role:
To design and produce digital and print materials that align with company branding to showcase our knowledge, expertise and creativity.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in briefing sessions to understand the scope of new projects
- Work alongside Marketers to develop bespoke designs concepts
- Designs trend reports, deciding the most effective layout for images and text and ensuring that branding remains consistent
- Prepare mood boards, mock-ups and packaging ideas to support marketing concepts
- Assist with the creation of internal branded documents and any other ad hoc design projects
- Produce designs for social and print media
- Create and design corporate branded artwork for external use (as required)
- Liaise with printers and suppliers regarding artwork specifications (as required)
- Stay up to date with new and emerging design trends and techniques
- Assist with the on-going management of the Fragrance Oils Website
- Maintain an effective filing system so that work can be easily accessed
Competencies/requirements:
- Experience in graphic design
- Creative and detail orientated
- Ability to manage multiple design projects and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of Mac design packages including Photoshop, Adobe & QuarkXpress
- Knowledge of MS Office with specific focus on PowerPoint
- Familiarity with CRM software
