Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer for an international manufacturing company with a site based in Radcliffe. Our client are global leaders in producing fragrances, supplying some of the biggest brands in the world. This is a permanent full time position and the successful candidate will be joining the marketing team.

Purpose of the role:

To design and produce digital and print materials that align with company branding to showcase our knowledge, expertise and creativity.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in briefing sessions to understand the scope of new projects
  • Work alongside Marketers to develop bespoke designs concepts
  • Designs trend reports, deciding the most effective layout for images and text and ensuring that branding remains consistent
  • Prepare mood boards, mock-ups and packaging ideas to support marketing concepts
  • Assist with the creation of internal branded documents and any other ad hoc design projects
  • Produce designs for social and print media
  • Create and design corporate branded artwork for external use (as required)
  • Liaise with printers and suppliers regarding artwork specifications (as required)
  • Stay up to date with new and emerging design trends and techniques
  • Assist with the on-going management of the Fragrance Oils Website
  • Maintain an effective filing system so that work can be easily accessed

Competencies/requirements:

  • Experience in graphic design
  • Creative and detail orientated
  • Ability to manage multiple design projects and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
  • Advanced knowledge of Mac design packages including Photoshop, Adobe & QuarkXpress
  • Knowledge of MS Office with specific focus on PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with CRM software
