Maintenance Engineer

A growing business is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to lead efforts to improve the overall maintenance programme effectiveness through continuously improving the preventative maintenance strategy. \\n\\n You will be preparing/planning for third party support for reactive and corrective works, ensuring relevant management approval is submitted for all critical works. They are looking for a qualified electrician (ideally Compex qualified), with mechanical experience. \\n\\n As Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:\\n\\nManaging the Planned Preventative Maintenance system ensuring that all maintenance activities are undertaken to time, quality, budget, and documentation control.\\nAttending and participating in daily meetings as a key team member\\nElectrical/mechanical installation, testing and fault diagnoses on plant and machinery within hazardous area.\\nManaging sub-contractors (RAMS). Checking, issuing and monitoring all scheduled PPM tasks and remedial actions both In-house & Sub-contracted\\nProcuring third-party suppliers.\\nEnsuring that the Engineering Department is cost effective.\\nEffectively maintaining manufacturing equipment and site utilities ensuring safe and continuous operation.\\nCarrying out routine in house testing to include fire alarm, sprinkler systems & emergency lighting\\nTaking responsibility for the selection of hazardous area equipment.\\nReviewing and prioritising works requests, determining activities required for completion of work and setting completion dates.\\nProviding out of hours support.\\nWorking to implement the company’s policies and goals.\\nEnsuring that health and safety guidelines and best practices are followed\\nEnsuring that environmental guidelines are followed\\nReporting current performance and planned improvement strategies.\\nWe’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer with the following:\\n\\nApproved Practical Electrical Qualification AM2\\nEAL Level 3 (Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations)\\nEAL Level 3 (Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations)\\nCompex Qualifications or willingness to train if possible.\\nTo apply for this role as Maintenance Engineer, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV.\\n\\nCandidate Source Ltd is an advertising agency.  Once you have submitted your application it will be passed to the third party Recruiter who is responsible for processing your application.
