LB385 – Supply Chain Specialist\\n\\nSalary: £25,000 – £28,000\\n\\nLocation: St Albans, Hertfordshire\\n\\nOverview:\\n\\nFirst Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Supply Chain Specialist on behalf of one of our clients.\\n\\nOur client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.\\n\\nDuties and Responsibilities:\\n\\nThe role is an Operational function with the main responsibility of the receipting the goods in the warehouse and packaging them up ready for the engineering team to deliver, alongside inventory control and ensuring stock levels are where they need to be.\\nAs the role develops you will be able to pre programme and technically support the field based team with technology equipment used.\\nThe role offers the opportunity for you to further progress within the procurement and supply industry by completing an apprenticeship with the CIPS.\\nPrepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures. Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise.\\nSupporting the wider operational team showing flexibility to support the fast paced operational environment to ensure the best service to customers is delivered.\\nManage the inventory levels to ensure that supplies are maintained at adequate levels both in warehouse and engineering van stock. Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile any discrepancies.\\nProcess returns for faulty or unwanted items and ensure the returns are processed within the required timeframes.\\nEnsuring the warehouse is clean & tidy and complies with health & safety regulations.\\nSupport with the management of recycled goods ensuring items are recycled where possible in line with sustainability policy.\\nConfigure and pre program of fire and security technology systems ready for the engineering team on site to install.
