Groundworks / Drainage Engineer

My client work predominately on foul and surface water drainage so experience and knowledge of repairing existing sewers, laying new sewers, installing sewage treatment works, septic tanks is preferable. The successful candidate must be presentable, polite, enthusiastic, use their own initiative and take pride in their work. High standards are expected as is a ‘can do’ attitude.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Excavation and Site Preparation:\\n\\nDigging trenches, removing vegetation, and generally preparing the sub-surface for construction.\\n\\n * Drainage Installation:\\n\\nLaying drainage pipes, installing manholes, and constructing soakaways according to plans and building regulations.\\n\\nConnecting pipework to existing systems\\n\\nSafety and Compliance:\\n\\nFollowing relevant health and safety procedures and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.\\n\\nSchedule: Monday to Friday (weekend job if required will have to be discussed and agreed together)
