Biomedical Engineer\\nSalary £33,000 – £38,000\\nLocation Central London \\n\\nRole Overview\\n\\nA leading healthcare service provider is seeking a Biomedical Engineer to perform on-site medical equipment maintenance, repairs, and asset management in a hospital setting. The role involves ensuring equipment reliability, supporting clinical teams, and meeting service performance targets.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nPerform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment in line with manufacturer guidelines.\\nDiagnose and carry out repairs on a variety of medical devices.\\nEnsure all service documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with operational procedures.\\nSupport the site manager/team leader in achieving service level agreements and key performance indicators (KPIs).\\nProvide technical support to hospital staff, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations.\\nMaintain spare parts inventory and ensure equipment is properly calibrated and functional.\\nTravel to multiple healthcare sites as required for maintenance and repairs.\\nAdhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards within the hospital environment.\\nLiaise with OEM service teams and hospital management to coordinate service activities.\\n\\nQualifications & Experience\\n\\nEssential:\\n\\nCertified OEM training in medical device servicing.\\nHNC or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, or Biomedical Engineering.\\n2–5 years of experience in a UK healthcare setting, working with medical equipment.\\nStrong customer relationship management skills.\\nWorking knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).\\nFamiliarity with national and local regulatory standards for medical equipment.\\nExperience working in clinical environments with direct patient interaction.\\n\\nDesirable:\\n\\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\\nThis role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, ensuring critical medical equipment remains operational and safe for patient care
