About the Role\\n\\nDue to sustained growth and a robust pipeline of public sector frameworks, the business is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team. You will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of refurbishment and compliance-driven works—supporting both negotiated and competitive bid opportunities.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nPrepare detailed cost estimates \\nAnalyse drawings, specifications, and client requirements to formulate competitive pricing strategies\\nCollaborate with pre-construction, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure tenders are commercially viable and operationally deliverable\\nConduct site visits and attend client/tender meetings where required\\nIdentify risk, value engineering opportunities, and commercial considerations within each project\\nProduce accurate BOQs and pricing schedules, ensuring clarity and completeness of submissions\\nSupport tender handovers and contribute to project start-ups post-awardAbout You\\n\\nPrevious experience as an Estimator working for a main contractor ideally within the refurbishment, compliance, or fit-out sector\\nStrong commercial acumen and working knowledge of JCT contracts and public sector procurement\\nAble to interpret drawings, tender specifications, and compliance scopes confidently\\nSkilled in preparing tenders ranging from £100k to £5m in value\\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software packages\\nStrong organisational and communication skills, with a collaborative mindsetWhat’s on Offer\\n\\nCompetitive salary reflective of experience\\nComprehensive package including car/allowance, pension, and holiday entitlement\\nLong-term opportunity within a stable and growing contractor\\nCareer progression within a collaborative, delivery-focused team\\nExposure to meaningful projects that positively impact communities
