Cost and Data Analyst\\n Location: Southampton\\n Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum\\n Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Hybrid – 1 day per week working from home)\\n\\nOur client, a global leader in their field, is seeking a meticulous and analytical Cost and Data Analyst to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to play a key role in supporting operational efficiency and compliance through data and cost analysis.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nConduct accurate cost estimations and analyses aligned with project budgets and timelines.\\nPerform comprehensive product comparisons to recommend optimal materials, equipment, or systems.\\nReview and interpret technical specifications and design documents to ensure feasibility and precision.\\nCollaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure cost-effective planning and execution.\\nPrepare clear and insightful reports and presentations summarising findings and recommendations.\\nStay current with industry trends, technologies, and standards.\\nProactively create and manage visit schedules to support operational needs.\\nMonitor and update reporting systems, tracking pending items and planned visits.\\nAdjust scheduling based on availability and resource needs.\\nCoordinate travel and accommodation for staff when arrangements are not handled by the client.Required Skills and Qualifications:\\n\\nSolid understanding of cost estimation, financial analysis, and budgeting principles.\\nExperience in product or material comparisons for technical or operational purposes.\\nProficiency in tools such as Excel, AutoCAD, or similar data and design software.\\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.\\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team.\\nExperience with technical drafting or black water systems is highly desirable.If you are analytical, organised, and eager to make an impact in a fast-paced environment please don't hesitate to APPLY.\\n\\nPlease be aware this advert will remain open until the vacancy has been filled.
