Our client, a leading Facilities Management organisation undergoing a significant change programme, is seeking an Interim Payroll & HR Systems Transformation Lead to lead a strategic transformation project to consolidate Payroll and HR systems across the UK business unit. This is a critical role responsible for the successful design and delivery of all elements required to transition from legacy systems and processes to a unified, simplified, and standardised approach in line with the business’ future operating model.
Key areas of focus:
- Lead the development and delivery of a new Payroll and HR systems blueprint, guiding the transition from current to future state.
- Build and manage a detailed migration plan, covering system build, testing, and implementation.
- Support the business in process simplification and standardisation, aligned with strategic goals.
- Deliver measurable business outcomes, including financial benefits and managing a project budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional virtual teams to execute the transformation effectively.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders to secure buy-in and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
- Develop and implement robust change and communication plans to ensure organisational readiness and adoption.
- Liaise with PMO to ensure alignment with wider programme governance and reporting.
Our client is looking for someone with proven experience in the end-to-end delivery of complex transformation and change projects, particularly within HR and payroll environments. You will have a strong track record of working with SAP and be skilled in project scoping, planning, budgeting, and managing risks and issues. A deep understanding of Payroll, HR Admin and HR system architectures, including integrations and data migration, is essential, along with hands-on experience in business case development, benefits realisation, and system blueprint creation through to testing and deployment. You will have successfully delivered payroll system integrations and be capable of communicating complex changes clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders. You should be able to hit the ground running, demonstrate a strong eye for detail, and be willing to travel nationally to sites as needed.
