My client is looking for experienced Commissioning Engineers to support upcoming project delivery across the UK. This is a contract opportunity operating outside IR35, offering flexibility, strong rates, and the chance to work with a close-knit, expert-led team.
Role Overview:You’ll be responsible for the commissioning of HVAC systems and other building services on a range of commercial, industrial and healthcare projects. From functional testing to documentation and client sign-off, you’ll play a key part in ensuring all systems are installed and performing to spec.
Key Responsibilities:- Commission HVAC, mechanical, and/or BMS systems (depending on your specialism)
- Produce and manage commissioning test documentation and reports
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery
- Identify and troubleshoot system performance issues
- Support project handover and witness testing
- Strong background in commissioning mechanical and/or BMS building services
- Proven experience on large-scale commercial or public-sector projects
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Good communication and reporting skills
- CSCS card and relevant H&S certifications
- Willing to travel to sites across the UK as required
- Contract position (Outside IR35)
