My client is looking for experienced Commissioning Engineers to support upcoming project delivery across the UK. This is a contract opportunity operating outside IR35, offering flexibility, strong rates, and the chance to work with a close-knit, expert-led team.

Role Overview:

You’ll be responsible for the commissioning of HVAC systems and other building services on a range of commercial, industrial and healthcare projects. From functional testing to documentation and client sign-off, you’ll play a key part in ensuring all systems are installed and performing to spec.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commission HVAC, mechanical, and/or BMS systems (depending on your specialism)
  • Produce and manage commissioning test documentation and reports
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Identify and troubleshoot system performance issues
  • Support project handover and witness testing
Experience & Requirements:
  • Strong background in commissioning mechanical and/or BMS building services
  • Proven experience on large-scale commercial or public-sector projects
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • CSCS card and relevant H&S certifications
  • Willing to travel to sites across the UK as required
