We are seeking an experienced Fire Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and implementing fire protection systems for a wide range of projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
Salary package: £45,000 - £55,000
40 hour working week

Key Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive fire protection designs, including fire suppression systems, detection systems, smoke control, and evacuation strategies.
- Ensure all fire safety designs comply with local, national, and international codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IBC, and local fire codes).
- Prepare and review detailed design reports, calculations, and project documentation for regulatory approval and client review.
- Assisting junior staff members with technical queries.
- Proficiency in fire modelling and simulation software (e.g., FDS, PyroSim, Pathfinder).
- Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IBC, BS 9999).
- Experience with CAD software and Revit for creating design layouts and integrating fire safety systems.
- Understanding how to carry out estimates.
- Experience working on designing security systems.
