The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and implementing fire protection systems for a wide range of projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. Salary package: £45,000 – £55,000 40 hour working week Company vehicle or car allowance Progression Key Responsibilities Develop comprehensive fire protection designs, including fire suppression systems, detection systems, smoke control, and evacuation strategies. Ensure all fire safety designs comply with local, national, and international codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IBC, and local fire codes). Prepare and review detailed design reports, calculations, and project documentation for regulatory approval and client review. Assisting junior staff members with technical queries. Requirements: Proficiency in fire modelling and simulation software (e.g., FDS, PyroSim, Pathfinder). Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IBC, BS 9999). Experience with CAD software and Revit for creating design layouts and integrating fire safety systems.
