We are therefore recruiting a Body Preparation Operative for the Bicester, Oxfordshire site. The successful candidate will be expected to prepare all vehicles for the paint process.

The Role:

  • Preparing aluminium panels using an orbital sander
  • Preparing GRP panels and materials using orbital sander and various rubbing blocks
  • Identifying and repairing small dents in all aluminium panels
  • Identifying and repairing small imperfections in GRP products
  • Masking of windows, door apertures, lights, etc.
  • Pre-cleaning bus before transfer into paint booths
  • Working with a team to achieve tak times and quality level
  • Working within the health and safety guidelines set by the company

The Requirements:

  • Use of Air Tools and experience in using masking tape and making paper. (Previous experience in preparing vehicles is desirable).
  • Experience preparing various types of materials, e.g. Fibreglass
  • Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • Willingness to undertake additional training as required.
