We are therefore recruiting a Body Preparation Operative for the Bicester, Oxfordshire site. The successful candidate will be expected to prepare all vehicles for the paint process.
The Role:
- Preparing aluminium panels using an orbital sander
- Preparing GRP panels and materials using orbital sander and various rubbing blocks
- Identifying and repairing small dents in all aluminium panels
- Identifying and repairing small imperfections in GRP products
- Masking of windows, door apertures, lights, etc.
- Pre-cleaning bus before transfer into paint booths
- Working with a team to achieve tak times and quality level
- Working within the health and safety guidelines set by the company

The Requirements:
- Use of Air Tools and experience in using masking tape and making paper. (Previous experience in preparing vehicles is desirable).
- Experience preparing various types of materials, e.g. Fibreglass
- Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Willingness to undertake additional training as required.
