Are you a strong Risk Based Integrity Engineer with API Certification and knowledge of NACE? Penspen is seeking a Risk Based Integrity Engineer who is eager to be more client-facing and involved in mentoring, based in and around Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Main Purpose of Role: Support client planning and execution of risk assessments and inspection management. The engineer will be based at the client office in Rotterdam and supported by Penspen senior engineers in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Perform RBI assessments for tanks, pipework, vessels, etc.
- Support execution of inspection plans and provide site support as needed.
- Prepare annual inspection plans.
- Liaise with senior engineers and experts within Penspen for integrity services.
- Prepare monthly progress reports.
- Support development of proposals and CTRs.
- Manage small projects regarding schedule, budget, and quality.

Financial Dimensions: Basic understanding of available budget and management of hours to perform tasks.
Knowledge / Experience (Skills):
- Experience with RBI software packages.

- Knowledge of API 580/581.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Knowledge of fitness for service assessments.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or similar in Materials, Mechanical, or related fields.
- Relevant API certifications.
- Relevant NACE certification.
- Approximately 5 years of experience in RBI and integrity-related projects.
