HomeServe are currently recruiting for a Systems Configuration Analyst to join the Operations Team in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will be a data driven, highly numerate self-starter who is not afraid to challenge the status quo. We work in a hybrid way with a requirement to travel into the Nottingham office 2 times per week to work with your team. With this in mind, you will be located within a convenient commute to Nottingham.
Working across the other Planning, Field and Contact Centre departments, the department works to ensure smooth short term and long-term operational performance, clear and accurate information and guidance to decision making.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:The Systems Configuration Analyst is responsible for the system configuration of the HomeServe field deployment system and associated programmes. Reporting to the Systems Configuration Manager, the analyst will ensure the configuration settings are aligned to the Field/Central Operations planning and deployment strategy, paying particular attention to Customer Experience and Engineer Optimisation.
Working closely with the Field/Central Operations Leadership team, the Systems Configuration Analyst is responsible for all aspects linked to the output of Service Bench/Click performance providing insight and recommendations for the system to add value to the Customer experience and increased efficiency. This includes:
- Configuration and maintenance of HomeServe's field planning system (Service Bench/Click) based on business requirements.
- Plan and execute assigned configuration tasks within deadlines.
- Provide system configuration support based on changing business needs.
- Review and recommend changes to existing configuration settings & processes which will improve Customer, People and Business enhancements.
- Assist in system analysis, design, development, and testing activities.
- Develop and maintain configuration policies and procedures.
- Analyse and resolve configuration issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain configuration requirements document and obtain approval from business owners.
- Provide support in developing, implementing and testing patch releases and system upgrades related to the field deployment systems.
- Provide system technical guidance to non-technical stakeholders on matters which impact field planning and dispatch.
- Own the Service Bench/Click Operational performance output achieved ensuring HomeServe provides an effortless service to Customers.
- Identify operational improvements required to achieve current and future objectives based on Service Bench/Click knowledge which supports HomeServe's strategic direction.
- Review other relevant data sources and provide recommendations for improved field optimization performance.
- Liaise with key areas of the business to own the creation & validity of Service Bench/Click MI.
- Act as the conduit between Service Operations and Internal/External partners for all Service Bench/Click related matters.
- Be responsible for future development of the Deployment operating systems.
- Train/coach specific Service Bench/Click users to ensure maximum output is achieved.
- Own the Service Bench & Click risk/system failure incident management for Field/Central Operations.
- Review and adjust tactical Service Bench/Click settings to ensure the best Customer experience in the most efficient way.
- Remain current in terms of Deployment System technical approaches through membership of relevant external planning forums.

- Understanding of the IT infrastructure required for a deployment system.
