We are looking for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our client on their current growth with exciting Data Centre, Mission Critical, Life Sciences and other projects across the UK & Europe. This role is based just outside of Glasgow and supports projects both locally and across the UK. This is a hybrid position offering 3 days in office and 2 days at home each week.

This role is paying between £60k to £70k annually, working a usual Monday to Friday routine (40 hours a week), plus additional benefits for a permanent employee (Pension, bonus, etc).

You must have a background in large projects, ideally within Data Centres, Mission Critical, Life Sciences or similar, with experience leading and managing pre-construction and pre-contract talks. You will be a technical point of contact for clients, leading client-facing meetings and discussions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of Quantity Surveying experience
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Strong experience with pre-contract meetings and pre-construction talks
  • An outside-of-the-box method of thinking to ensure projects adhere to timescales
