Job Description United Kingdom (Hybrid – Winchester or London office 1–2 times a week) Up to £73K base salary 10% bonus Private Medical Insurance 25 days annual leave Access to flexible benefits including discounts on major brands, wellness programmes, gymflex, travel and dental insurance A flexible and hybrid working culture Job Description Location United Kingdom (Hybrid – Winchester or London office 1–2 times a week) We offer Up to £73K base salary 10% bonus 6% pension contribution Private Medical Insurance 25 days annual leave Access to flexible benefits including discounts on major brands, wellness programmes, gymflex, travel and dental insurance A flexible and hybrid working culture Purpose Leads the team of cross functional technical infrastructure engineers, ensuring the successful design, development, implementation, and troubleshooting of Arqiva common infrastructure and services, focusing on both on-premises and cloud-based solutions. Accountabilities Ensure the team has the required tools, resources and capabilities to manage the engineering team in developing infrastructure solutions. Lead the team in the implementation and optimisation of common infrastructure and services. Ensure high performance and reliability of data centre operations. Implement and maintain advanced security protocols. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and SOPs. Lead large-scale infrastructure projects from planning to execution. Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new technologies. Develop and implement robust disaster recovery plans. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Ensure identified risks are managed in line with Risk Management Process Responsible for the management and optimisation of data centre operations. Manage self & task role model Arqiva’s culture goals with the team, building respect and credibility; set a high-performance bar and challenge the team to deliver sustainable results, by developing the skills and capabilities of the team and focusing on outcomes. Manage relationships & communications connect, collaborate & lead communication transparently, balancing face to face and virtual, with own team and teams across the business to encourage cross-functional understanding, agreement and knowledge sharing Required Technical Skills Understanding of networks, data & media broadcast technologies & supporting common infrastructure Security Principles – understanding of security principles and practices Analytical and technical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues Communication skills – collaborate with cross-functional teams, present technical info and provide training or support Project management – ability to manage one or multiple projects or project tasks and meet deadlines Innovation & CI – ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement Relationship management – ability to foster relationships (and network) with external vendors, suppliers, industry peers, etc. Leadership and Management – management proficiency in influencing, analysis, decision making, empathy, communications, and adaptability Knowledge & Experience Substantial experience in infrastructure engineering or a related field. Advanced knowledge of infrastructure security and compliance. Advanced knowledge of Asset Lifecycle Management Knowledge of ITIL best practices Qualifications A degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is advantageous.
