I am delighted to be working with the ICAEW to recruit a Reviewer within the Quality Assurance Department. The primary function of this role is to conduct quality assurance visits to member firms in the north east of England of all sizes and report on findings, ensuring best practice is being adhered to. Providing constructive advice to members, you will also help connect members and stakeholders to other parts of the Institute where appropriate and provide written reports of your findings from those visits.
It is anticipated that a minimum of 80% of your time will be spent with members, the balance being spent remotely, typically at home. Potential candidates should be qualified accountants with recent experience of working in an Audit practice (maximum 5 years outside that environment) and possess well developed interpersonal and report writing skills. This represents a unique opportunity for a technically minded individual to add value in the professional arena, working for an organisation that upholds the highest professional standards.
