The Role
Reporting to the Head of People Operations, our People Operations Manager plays a critical role in creating an exceptional employee experience. You will lead a team of 6, including 4 People Administrators, a Data and Systems Analyst, and an HR Advisor. This department is busy and fast-paced, focusing on productivity, quality, and SLA adherence. You will collaborate with the wider People Team and various stakeholders, managing systems, streamlining processes, and fostering positive, engaged, and effective teams.
You Will
- Review and develop global HR processes with a focus on employee experience, compliance, and efficiency.
- Lead and coach your team to deliver service excellence and develop their potential.
- Manage day-to-day People Operations activities, including administration and data management.
- Establish your team as the first point of contact for HR queries, developing processes and knowledge resources.
- Set up a People Policy steering committee to ensure legislative updates and policy alignment with company values.
- Understand and oversee system integrations with HRIS to improve efficiency.
- Participate in wider HR projects and initiatives.
- Promote self-service HR processes, exploring technology and AI opportunities.
- Support audit processes and use data to drive service improvements.
- Model continuous improvement with a focus on employee experience.
You Are
- Experienced in HR roles, with exposure to employee relations, HR systems, and data.
- Passionate about people operations, with problem-solving skills and process improvement experience.
- Knowledgeable of UK employment laws; international laws are a plus.
- Strong leader and coach, capable of managing high workloads calmly.
- Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Friendly, trustworthy, and able to build relationships globally.
- Confident handling confidential information and data protection.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
