Trainee Pipe Fitter in Andover

Our client, a family-owned business specializing in fabrication and engineering, is currently seeking two Trainee Pipe Fitters to join their growing team based near Andover.

About the Role:

As a Trainee Pipe Fitter, you will support senior team members and gain valuable experience in:

• Threaded pipework installation

• Interpreting engineering assembly and fabrication drawings

• Preparing materials for fabrication

• Mechanical fit-up of welded pipework

• Conducting pressure testing

• Spray painting and finishing

• Preparing manufacturing documentation

• Performing inspections and reviewing certifications

What We\’re Looking For:

• GCSEs (Grade 5 or above) in Maths and English (essential)

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• A friendly, respectful, and professional attitude

• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently

Job Details:

• Location: Andover

• Duration: 13-week temp-to-perm opportunity

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)

• Rate: £12.21 per hour (basic rate)
