Systems Implementation Engineer urgently required by a global fast growing security solutions provider based in Basingstoke. The company delivers future proof government programs working with customers across the globe. The Systems Implementation Engineer will provide technical support focused on the development and implementation of customer applications and products, both remotely and on-site.
Please note, this role does involve international travel around 40% of the time for customer implementations. Please do not apply to this position if you are not happy with frequent worldwide travel.
Essential experience:- At least 3 years' experience in a similar Implementation focused role
- Configuring operating systems to support enterprise applications and services
- Strong knowledge of Servers and network administration
- Virtualization technologies such as: Hyper-V, VMware etc
- System security and compliance best practices
- Databases: SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL etc
- Strong customer facing experience
- Containerisation - Docker and Kubernetes
- Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, SQL etc
- Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, VMware (VCP), CCNA, CCMP
The company's office is based in Basingstoke, and the expectation is that this person will work hybrid from the office around 3 days a week when not travelling internationally.
