We are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor to recruit a Senior Site Manager for a key site-based role delivering high-quality construction projects across the Central Belt. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business known for delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects across sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, and public infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day site operations to ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations at all times.
- Drive construction progress while maintaining strong communication with the wider project and commercial teams.
- Take full ownership of site documentation, HSEQ procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact on-site, fostering strong relationships with the wider team, suppliers, and local authorities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager within the main contracting environment.
- Track record of delivering projects valued £5M+ across various sectors.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage teams and resolve issues proactively.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.
- Excellent knowledge of health & safety, environmental, and quality standards.
